Governor Newsom Announces California Secretary of State Alex Padilla Will Succeed Harris in the Senate

Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Tuesday that Alex Padilla, California’s Secretary of State, will succeed Vice President-elect Kamala Harris in the Senate.
