Former President Donald Trump will speak at the Turning Point Action Conference 2024: The People’s Convention held in Detroit, Michigan this weekend.

The People’s Convention will be held Friday through Sunday at Huntington Place in Detroit.

“Preceding the Republican National Convention by a month, The People’s Convention will serve as the natural focal point of the national conservative political movement leading into the most crucial time of the 2024 campaign season,” Turning Point Action said.

The event will feature speeches from more than 30 other prominent conservative leaders and elected officials, in addition to Trump.

Among those set to appear at the conference include Vivek Ramaswamy, Dr. Ben Carson, Steve Bannon, Donald Trump Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Governor Kristi Noem, Candace Owens, Lara Trump, Roger Stone, Scott Pressler, Kari Lake, and Mike Lindell.

This weekend’s conference will also hold a straw poll, more than 70 sponsoring organizations, and thousands of attendees.

Charlie Kirk, founder and president of Turning Point Action, released a statement ahead of this weekend’s event, saying, “It’s becoming more clear than ever that Joe Biden and the Democrats are going all-in on the Blue Wall to hold the Oval in November, and Michigan is a state that could determine the future of the country.”

“That’s why we’re so excited to host this event in Detroit, an all-American city that represents a perfect cross section of President Trump’s growing coalition of rural voters, union workers, and urban working-class Americans. Detroit has all of these groups in one city and surrounding areas, and we intend to make the best pitch to the Motor City that we can,” Kirk added.

Kirk also stressed that the convention will also offer information on voting, specifically how voters can sign up to become precinct committeemen.

“The People’s Convention is all about getting to work,” Kirk said.
