NASHVILLE, Tennessee- Life Promotions, organizers of the nation’s largest, family-friendly, music festival, Lifest, is thrilled to bring a new event to the Nashville area, Lifest Music City. This inaugural festival will be hosted July 29-31, 2021 at Hideaway Farm, the former home of country music legend Johnny Cash in Bon Aqua, Tennessee. This scenic farm was the center of Johnny’s universe for over 30 years and is just a short drive from Nashville.
The original Lifest, first hosted in 1999 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, was founded by Life Promotions Chief Visionary Officer, Bob Lenz, with a mission to deepen the faith of all who attend and unite the body of Christ. Lifest achieves this mission by providing nationally known artists and speakers, camping, activities, seminars, and much, more. For over two decades Lifest, also known as “A Party with a Purpose,” has become a destination event for thousands of families across the US. Proceeds from the festival go to support Life Promotions programs, like Dignity Revolution, Quake Events, and more that bring hope to our nation’s youth.
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee said the event will be an important economic boost to the region. “We’re excited to welcome Lifest Music City to Tennessee this summer,” said Gov. Lee. “It’s an honor to welcome visitors from across the country for an event that will showcase Tennessee’s rich musical heritage, boost tourism, and support Middle Tennessee’s thriving economy.”
Life Promotions is the host of the 3-day festival featuring artists such as Newsboys, Michael W. Smith, Skillet, Matthew West, Joe Nichols, Mandisa, Lecrae, Sidewalk Prophets, and many others. Here is the complete schedule of featured artists.
This family-friendly event will mark Hideaway Farm’s first music festival and will benefit Dignity Revolution, a movement supporting mental health and wellness which educates youth to overcome bullying and stand up for the value of every person.
From now until June 1, tickets for the 3-day event are on sale for $66 for adults, $33 for ages 8 to 15. Camping will be available for the duration of the festival, as well as food vendors, marketplace shops, and activities for children.
