Ex-LGBTQ Activist ‘De-Programming’ Children Indoctrinated in Government Schools

Former LGBTQ activist K. Yang says she is now actively working to “de-program” children who have been indoctrinated in woke gender ideology in public schools with funding from the New York State Department of Public Health.

In an interview Sunday on Fox & Friends Weekend, Yang, 36, explained her conversion from an LGBTQ activist who helped indoctrinate young children in government schools in the tenets of gender ideology:

When I was in my early 20s, I was paid with funding from the New York State Department of Health to indoctrinate public school children with gender identity and transgender ideology. We used themes of acceptance, anti-bullying, and suicide prevention in order to gain sympathy and trust from teachers and parents.

“And 10 years ago, no one had ever heard of a ‘trans’ child,” she asserted. “The work I was doing at the LGBT Center was helping to pave the way for the creation and normalization of the so called ‘trans’ child. Children are not ‘trans’ and children cannot consent to puberty blockers, wrong sex hormones and surgeries that alter their healthy bodies and sterilize them.”

Yang, whose websites are titled “Stop Female Erasure” and “The Deprogrammer,” states she defines the “trans agenda” as: “the collusion of public, state, corporate, & private interests to make legal & social changes resulting in the termination of female sex-based rights – as well as issues of health & safety for children – under the guise of promoting LGBT & ‘transgender’ rights.”

She explained to Fox & Friends Weekend that she is “completely independent”:

I’m not here to sell any services. The conversations that I have with parents of children and teens who’ve been indoctrinated with gender identity ideology are confidential and they come from direct referrals through people and organizations that I have established relationships with already. The work I do is completely non-coercive. I’m not here to force anyone to listen to me. I seek to provide research information and resources that mothers, fathers, grandparents, and families, in general, can use to empower themselves to make the best choices for them and their children.

Yang added the work she does is “largely for free, it’s not for a profit.”

“It’s not a job for me,” she said. “It’s something that I do out of my heart because I feel for the parents and families that are struggling with this, because I know, so intimately, what they’re going through as I was indoctrinated and programmed to this ideology myself.”

Yang said she believes the push to indoctrinate children into gender ideology will only get worse.

“The gender identity industry has really spread its tentacles into every facet of our society; I think that’s clear,” she explained. “This is a coordinated attack on our children and it’s being done in the name of trans rights. It’s being perpetrated on the local level, the state level, and a federal level, and from the direction of global governing bodies, like the United Nations and the World Economic Forum.”

Last March, Yang addressed the global push to entrench gender ideology in young people around the world at a protest in front of the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

“Gender identity is not based in biological objective reality,” Yang said during the protest. “Rather, it’s a purely subjective, clever, corporate fiction being used as a Trojan horse for the worldwide destruction of female sex-based rights and the erasure of the sexually dimorphic reality of humanity.”

Yang especially noted that, in 2015:

All 193 countries, named as U.N. member states, adopted the 2030 agenda for sustainable development. The U.N. describes their agenda 2030 goals as a “shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet now and into the future.” Sustainable Development Goal Five is presented to us under the banner of gender equality. When the U.N. claims to be working to end discrimination against all women and girls, their definition of “women and girls” includes biological men and boys within the framework of “gender identity.”

In a recent interview with the New York Post, Ted Patrick, 92, known as the “father of deprogramming,” a man who, decades ago, helped hundreds of parents deprogram their children from cults such as the Moonies, the Hare Krishnas, and the Children of God, said he is still actively helping parents and is more in demand than ever before.

“It’s worse now than it was then,” Patrick said of the cults of the 1970s.

“But parents are more scared and weak than they were then,” he explained. “You’ve got to get these kids alone. I’ve snatched people from Yale. I deal with the mind. You have to go into the mind, into that container, and bring the real person out. Once you get the person out you have to get the person thinking again — thinking like a critical thinker.”
