‘Boycott Target’ Song Climbs iTunes Charts, Garners Millions of Views

The song “Boycott Target” has garnered millions of views online and climbed to No. 3 on iTunes Hip-Hop charts within days of being released.

“Attention all shoppers: There’s a clean-up on every aisle. Target is targeting your kids,” the song by Forgiato Blow and Jimmy Levy featuring Nick Nittoli and Stoney Dudebro opens up. The music video, which has more than 3.6 million views on Twitter, features the rappers walking through what appears to be Target as they hold up Pride-themed merchandise.

The group, whose other songs include “Fock Bud Light,” “Let’s Go Brandon” and “Trump Train,” released the single taking aim at Target on Thursday.

“Target, Target, yeah they targetin’/Target, Target, yeah they target kids,” the song’s chorus states.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) reposted the music video on Twitter with the caption: “American Conservatives are once again showing who has the real buying power. It’s not the woke mob, they only bully and riot.”

Target’s shares each fell $22 from mid-May until market close on Friday, meaning that the company lost more than $9 billion in market value in just over a week. The stock losses come after the retail giant made headlines for selling Pride-themed items such as children’s clothing, dog toys and books. Target subsequently removed some Pride times that were made by a designer who also produces Satan-inspired merchandise.
