Trump Cheers 2020 Election Doc ‘Rigged’ at Mar-a-Lago Premiere

President Donald J. Trump joined hundreds of MAGA luminaries, supporters of Citizens United and cast members of the documentary Rigged: The Zuckerberg Funded Plot to Defeat Donald Trump, which exposes how Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent $400 million to rig the 2020 election against Trump, at its April 5, 2022 premiere.

David Bossie, the president of Citizens United and one of the executive producers of the film, told the crowd that completing the film and having it premiere at the president’s Palm Beach, Florida, resort Mar-a-Lago was a dream come true.

In his own remarks, the president said that he used to say that without borders, you have no country, but now he says you need borders and honest elections.

Trump told the audience he loves movies like Citizen Kane, Gone with the Wind and Titanic, but this is the one movie he really wanted to see.

Attorney Cleta Mitchell, a member of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, said that she got involved in the film, because Americans need to hear the story of how Zuckerberg used tax-deductible funds to swing an election in violation of the IRS code.

Elections Integrity attorney Christina Bobb said that the research into what happened in 2020 documented in Rigged is just the beginning, and across the country, states are tightening up their laws to prevent the irregularities that Zuckerberg financed from happening again.

Neil W McCabe: President Donald J. Trump was the special guest at the film premiere of Rigged, a film by David Bossie and Citizens United, which documents how Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg rigged the 2020 election.

David Bossie: This is a dream come true for me and for Citizens United, to be able to produce this important film and premiere here at Mar-a-Lago. It is such an amazing place.

Neil W McCabe: In a room packed with MAGA luminaries and cast members, there was only one man they wanted to see.

David Bossie: It is my distinct pleasure and honor to introduce to you the 45th president of the United States – maybe the 47th, too – Donald J. Trump!

(applause and cheers)

Donald J Trump: Thank you very much. It’s great to be with you tonight. I’m really looking forward to tonight. I saw the trailer and it looks really good. As I said at the end of this, it’s really important.

We have to have free and fair elections, and we have to have borders or we don’t have a country.

Neil W McCabe: Trump told the crowd like them, he was eager to see the Citizens United documentary himself.

Donald J Trump: I’ve really liked a lot of movies over the course of my life.

Citizen Kane was excellent. Gone with the Wind was excellent. Titanic was excellent. But this is the one I most look forward to see.

(crowd laughter)

Neil W McCabe: Election integrity attorney Christina Bob said Rigged was part of a growing movement across the country. with more to come.

Christina Bobb: The information coming out and it is coming out as citizens continued to do their FOIA requests and continue their investigations.

And then on the legislative side, have he had a number of states say that they don’t want any Zuckerberg money; they don’t want any private money; this is the election.

Wisconsin said that they don’t want drop boxes and in a number of locations, they are debating allowing drop boxes or not allowing drop boxes.

Neil W McCabe: Attorney Cleta Mitchell, a member of the Federal Election Assistance Commission told The Star News Network why she wanted to be a part of the documentary.

Cleta Mitchell: I wanted to be a part of this film because I think that what happened in 2020, with this billionaire, Mark Zuckerberg, giving tax deductible dollars to influence an election, in violation of the internal revenue code. That is a story that needs to be told.
