Catholic Advocacy Group Calls on Biden to Publicly Condemn Pro-Abortion Activists’ Plan to Disrupt Masses and Protest at Homes of Supreme Court Justices

CatholicVote issued a statement Thursday that calls upon President Joe Biden and other officials to publicly condemn the pro-abortion group “Ruth Sent Us” for organizing protests urging people to target Catholic churches, disrupt Masses, and demonstrate outside the homes of the Supreme Court justices this coming weekend.

“In the wake of the shameless leak of a draft opinion of the Supreme Court, pro-abortion groups are now threatening to disrupt Catholic churches and to protest outside the homes of Supreme Court justices this Sunday,” CatholicVote President Brian Burch said in the statement, adding:

President Biden must immediately and forcibly condemn these domestic terrorist threats. Anti-Catholic zealots are plotting to intimidate and harass Catholics across the country, along with justices and their families. This country was built on freedom of speech and freedom of religion. The President of the United States must stand up for both.

As the Daily Wire reported, leftist organizations, including one that calls itself “Ruth Sent Us,” have urged abortion supporters to protest at the family homes of the perceived conservative justices and to “stand at or in a local Catholic Church” on Sunday, which is Mother’s Day.

“Whether you’re a “Catholic for Choice,” ex-Catholic, of other or no faith, recognize that six extremist Catholics set out to overturn Roe,” Ruth Sent Us tweeted. “Stand at or in a local Catholic Church Sun May 8.”

The pro-abortion group is using hashtags #WarOnWomen and #MothersDayStrike.

“These threats follow a record number of attacks on Catholic churches, shrines, and symbols over the past two years,” Burch noted. “Just this week another Catholic church in Boulder, Colorado, was desecrated by pro-abortion activists. We call on responsible leaders in Washington to unequivocally condemn these dangerous threats before they lead to violence, or worse.”

“This is what Mother’s Day should look like,” Ruth Sent Us tweeted. “Catholic and Evangelical Churches nationwide.”
