Conservative Clergy of Color’s Chairman Bishop Aubrey Shines denounced an attack lobbed at U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) Wednesday for speaking out against Black Lives Matter.

Blackburn tweeted, “The life of every African American matters. But Black Lives Matter is a 501 (c)(3) organization run by “trained Marxists.” We cannot allow our great country to be destroyed under the pretense of social justice.”

Adam Parkhomenko, a Democratic strategist, tweeted “You are inbred racist trash. Please f**k off.”

In response, Shines said, “This is what Democrats are resorting to? Calling an intelligent, successful woman inbred and trash? I thought the Left could sink no lower but I’ve been wrong before. God will forgive you for this Mr. Parkhomenko, but only if you apologize for this demeaning smear.”

Conservative Clergy of Color is an organization based on the Christian principles that America was founded on. Its members stand as a counter to the Black Lives Matter movement to provide an alternate voice for those who seek real change, not a Marxist deconstruction of American society.

“This is what happens when the voters who are required to vote Democrat – women, blacks, and other minorities — question the party leadership or think for themselves,” Shines said. “They degrade and shame you in the metaphorical town square. I’d also like to note that Mr. Parkhomenko didn’t refute the senator’s comment about Black Lives Matter being run by Marxists. He couldn’t refute it so he resorted to childish name-calling. I will pray for Mr. Parkhomenko to receive some wisdom and have grace the next time he gets into a debate.”

Shines in June called Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King “asinine” and “disgusting” for suggesting that “white European” statues of Jesus should be torn down.

Parkhomenko, a former Hillary Clinton aide, is no stranger to making offensive comments about Republicans.

In April 2019, he mocked Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who is a survivor of polio, for tripping on the stairs, The Washington Times reported.
