Trump Campaign Announces ‘Merry Christmas Rally’ in Michigan After Pence Promises to Visit ‘Again and Again and Again’

President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign announced Wednesday that the president will host a “Merry Christmas Rally” in Michigan on December 18.

The announcement comes a day after Vice President Mike Pence promised a crowd of Michiganders that he and the president will visit the state “again and again and again.”

Michigan is booming thanks to President Trump and jobs are coming back to the state. Since President Trump’s election, Michigan has added 75,000 new jobs,” said Kayleigh McEnany, national press secretary of the Trump campaign. “President Trump is delivering on his promises, and he looks forward to celebrating those successes with the great men and women of Michigan this Christmas season.”

The rally will take place at 7 p.m. at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Vice President Pence just completed a bus tour through the state with former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Pence made stops in Portage and Grand Rapids before attending a rally in downtown Holland where he attacked the “sham” impeachment inquiry.

This sham impeachment should end, and Congress should get back to work,” said Pence, who called the current economy the best “in American history.”

Wages are rising at the fastest pace in a decade,” he said. “According to the experts, wages are rising most rapidly for hardworking blue-collar Americans, the forgotten men and women.”

Earlier in the day, the vice president spoke to a group of faith leaders in Portage.

With four more years of President Donald Trump in the White House, and with God’s help, we’re going to make this state and nation more prosperous than you can possibly imagine,” he told the crowd.

Pence was joined on the campaign trail by John James, who’s challenging incumbent Sen. Gary Peters for his seat in the 2020 election.

Great campaigning with Sarah Huckabee Sanders today,” Pence wrote on Twitter Wednesday night.
