Mr. Rogers, Frozen and a NYPD Detective Wait for You on Movies to Watch This Weekend

 

A Day in the Neighborhood:

Mr. Rogers will not be on PBS this Friday. Instead, he will be on your big screen as Tom Hanks who portrays him and the friendship he had with journalist Tom Junod. The journalist and television star developed this friendship after Junod was assigned to profile Rogers.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood is considered one of the top movies this year as it has been received well by on Rotten Tomatoes. Movie critics rated this movie at 97 percent and fans scored it a little lower at 92 percent. This family-friendly movie came out Friday.

Frozen 2:

Frozen returns to the big screen with a sequel movie this Thursday. The film follows Snow Queen Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven as they go on an adventure well beyond the Ariendelle Kingdom. Their journey tries to answer one question: Why was Elsa was born with magical powers?

This movie has been well received by both critics and fans on Rotten Tomatoes. Movie critics scored the movie at 77 percent while fans gave it a 94 percent rating.

21 Bridges:

Chadwick Boseman plays, an embattled NYPD detective, is thrown in the middle of a citywide manhunt for cop killers after he unexpectedly uncovering a conspiracy. The further he gets involved in the manhunt, the lines become blurred on who he is after and who is after him. Trying to prevent the killers from leaving the city, all 21 bridges are closed in New York City.

This film has received different reviews from fans and movie critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Moviegoers have rated this at 86 percent while critics gave it a 41 percent.
